Poop Tales is designed to be private by architecture, not just by promise. Your profiles and records are stored only on your device. We do not operate servers that receive, store, or process your personal data.

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We use RevenueCat, Inc. to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous, randomly generated app user ID and purchase information. It does not receive your name, email, profiles, or records. We never see or store your payment details.

We use a privacy-focused analytics service to understand aggregate feature usage (for example, how often a feature is used). These events:
All reminders are scheduled and delivered locally on your device. No push notification server is involved.
Poop Tales is designed for parents and caregivers, not for children. The app does not target children under 13 as users, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
Profiles about babies or children are created and managed entirely by a parent or guardian, and all such data is stored only on that parent's or guardian's device. Because this data never reaches us, we hold no children's personal information. If you believe a child has provided us personal information directly, contact us at hello@pooptales.app and we will delete it.
Because your data lives on your device, most of your rights are exercised directly:
For the limited data processed by our processors (RevenueCat purchase status; anonymous analytics), the legal basis is performance of a contract (purchases) and legitimate interest (aggregate product improvement). You may contact us at hello@pooptales.app to exercise rights regarding that data, and we will cooperate with our processors to fulfill valid requests.
We retain nothing on our side because we operate no servers. Data on your device is retained until you delete it or uninstall the app.
Your data is protected by your device's built-in protections, including device-level encryption (iOS Data Protection / Android File-Based Encryption) and app sandboxing. Since your data never leaves your device, there is no server to breach.
If we change this policy, we will update the Effective Date above and, for material changes, provide notice within the app. If we ever introduce features that change how data is handled (for example, optional cloud backup), we will update this policy before the feature ships.
